Treat the person, focusing on wellness and disease prevention
Getting to know you is critical to partnering with you for your health and wellness. I am a Nurse Practitioner who practices integrative medicine, which is defined as a healing-oriented medicine that takes into account the whole person – all factors that influence a patient’s health, wellness and disease are taken into consideration, including body, mind, spirit, lifestyle and community. I support the treatment of disease with appropriate therapies, both conventional and alternative, to facilitate the body’s innate healing response. By blending traditional and modern healing systems, I recommend natural, safe and least invasive treatments first. Treatment of symptoms may be necessary, but finding the underlying cause is crucial to resolving the problem. As unique individuals, we all need individualized treatment plans. One size does not fit all.
Our Wellness Specialties
Also referred to as Essential Oil therapy, Aromatherapy can be defined as the art and science of utilizing naturally extracted aromatic essences from plants to balance, harmonize and promote the health of body, mind and spirit. It seeks to unify physiological, psychological and spiritual processes to enhance an individual’s innate healing process.
